US Cellular unlock policy

A short summary of how US Cellular handles unlock requests. Check your carrier's current policy for the exact rules.

• If you bought the phone on a payment plan or lease with US Cellular, it usually has to be fully paid off first.
• US Cellular's wireless business has been moving to T-Mobile. If the official link has changed, ask US Cellular or T-Mobile support where to request an unlock.
