Hands holding a smartphone over a wooden table

Will my phone work on that carrier?

Pick your phone and the carrier you want to use at home or abroad. We compare the network bands your phone supports with the bands the carrier says it uses.

Guidance, not a guarantee. Check with the carrier before you travel or switch.

Only carriers whose band list we could check on an official page give a full result.

How we decide

  • Good match: your phone supports all of the carrier's main 4G LTE bands, and at least one of its 5G bands when the carrier lists 5G. When the carrier does not name main bands, every 4G band it lists counts.
  • Partial match: your phone shares some 4G bands with the carrier but misses a main band, or shares no 5G band.
  • Likely not compatible: your phone shares no 4G LTE band with the carrier.
  • Not enough data: we have no band list from an official source for the phone or the carrier.

Phone bands are for the model sold in the United States. Models sold elsewhere can differ. Matching bands do not guarantee the carrier will activate your phone or turn on calling features like VoLTE. Your phone also needs to be unlocked to use another carrier's SIM.
