What is a carrier unlock?
A carrier unlock removes the software lock that ties your phone to one mobile network. After it, the phone accepts SIM cards from other carriers.
Is it legal?
Unlocking a phone you own is legal in the US. Carriers set their own rules for when they will unlock, so check your carrier's current policy. We only work on phones that were not reported lost or stolen.
How long does it take?
It depends on the carrier and model. We show the delivery time before you pay, and you can follow your order live on the track page.
What if the unlock fails?
You get a full refund. If the unlock is rejected or not delivered within the stated time, we refund the order. See the refund policy for details.
Why do you check my IMEI first?
The IMEI tells us the model, the carrier and whether the phone is blacklisted. Checking first stops you paying for an unlock that cannot work. The basic check is free.
Do you unlock lost or stolen phones?
No. We refuse lost, stolen or blacklisted devices. By ordering you confirm that you own the phone.
Do you remove iCloud, Activation Lock, FRP, MDM or Google account locks?
No. We do not remove those locks and we never promise to. Those belong to the owner of the account. Carrier unlock only.
Can I unlock it for free with my carrier?
Often yes, if you qualify. Many carriers unlock for free once the phone is paid off and the account is in good standing. Read our free unlock guides first. A paid unlock helps when your carrier will not do it, or you already left the carrier.
Will I lose my data?
A carrier unlock does not erase your data. Some phones restart after the unlock. We still suggest keeping a backup, as you should before any phone change.
How do I pay?
Checkout is handled by Stripe and PayPal. We never see your card details.
